Our RDA Pony Morning!
We took a trip to visit the ponies at the Epsom Riding for the Disabled Association! The families were greeted by the RDA team and furry friends on arrival. All the children's faces lit up with joy at the sight of the ponies waiting to be ridden by them!
After fitting the children for their hats, they were now ready to get on the ponies! A massive well done to all the children for being so brave and jumping on without hesitation.
The riders were then led round the riding school with the help and guidance from the RDA team. They played a few games whilst on the horses including the egg and spoon race! All the kids did a great job and had a grin from ear to ear.
After tiring the ponies out, the young riders had a chance to groom and give the horses some friendly cuddles.
After an enjoyable morning full of horsey fun, the children were gifted with a party bag full of treats and a crafty pony toy!
For being so brave and an incredible horse rider, the children were rewarded with The knights Foundation Rosettes!
A massive thank you to 'Crafty Ponies' who kindly donated the fantastic pony teddies! Also, a huge thank you to CandyWorksUK for donating the amazing pick 'n' mix sweets for the party bags.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to this RDA day - it was a fabulous morning for everyone involved! We look forward to more riding days in the future.
