A fantastic day at Ferny Crofts!

On the 21st February, we had the pleasure of spending the day at Ferny Crofts Scout Centre, where the children were given the opportunity to experience all sorts of military-style activities!

The activities included archery, zip lining, rifle shooting. The children were guided on how to use the equipment safely before getting the chance to practise their skills. Later in the day, they were introduced to military ration packs, learning what soldiers eat in the field, and they even got to take some home to try for themselves!

A huge thank you to Ferny Crofts for hosting us and an even bigger thank you to Wayne Fuller, Mick Delaney, Chris Palmer and the team for making this an unforgettable experience. Their amazing efforts made the day as fantastic as it was!
