The Knights Foundation provide support and gifts to disabled children, deprived children, seriously ill children and their families. It is also our aim to know more about these children and young carers and what we can provide to support them in their role. This support is also offered to those who may be restricted from having a good or happy life.
Our ultimate aim is to build and maintain an eco friendly, sustainable property along the South coast, which is amenable for those with restricted abilities, to enjoy stress free family holidays and have the use of a facility, free of charge, to allow them to do this. This will be our gift to them as they deserve it.
Our supporters – staff, trustees, patrons, donators and volunteers are passionate about making differences in lives and are keen to understand more on how we can help others who need our support and identify resources who can also help with everyday living for these people.
The trust is driven by Nicky Banger, CEO and our Board of Trustees with the support of the Sub-Committees, each in their own specialist areas.
We have firsthand experience in living with disabilities. Nicky Banger is the father of a child with a disability, his beautiful daughter Sophia has cerebral palsy. Nicky, his wife, son and Sophia all know how tiring it is when having to rely on or care for someone day in and day out.
Our Chairman Debbie lives with a disability, she has a paralysed arm and understands how frustrating it is to live with a disability if the right support or knowledge isn’t there or even just someone to help. As a mother of a young child she has faced her own challenges and overcomes them to the best of her ability. Her husband has been invaluable in supporting her and this has allowed her to be independent, manage with a young child and run her own business.
We have the upmost respect to those in this position or any others managing everyday living with limited time and we want to understand and be educated of the support and help people living in these circumstances need and be told of social activities they would like to enjoy.
Which brings this mission statement towards a close. We are continuously developing the Anthony Knights Foundation Trust and the service we offer by helping others and gaining case studies, to support this so we in turn can raise more awareness of how we have and can help others. We ask that those connected with us raise awareness too so we can help others enjoy life and have fun along the way.
